Refund and Returns Policy

At Quality Shed, we value your satisfaction and want to ensure that your shopping experience is hassle-free. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our return and refund policy for shed purchases.

Returns

Eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your shed must be:

  • Unused, unassembled, and in the same condition that you received it
  • Free from any signs of assembly, installation, modification, or weather exposure
  • In its original packaging (including all boxes, panels, hardware kits, and protective materials)
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

Important note for sheds: Due to the large size and nature of shed products, returns require special handling. Please contact us before attempting to return any shed item.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain shed items are non-returnable, including but not limited to:

  • Custom-built or personalized sheds (e.g., custom dimensions, colors, or modifications)
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Sheds that have been partially or fully assembled
  • Items damaged due to customer mishandling, improper installation, or weather exposure after delivery
  • Gift cards
  • Anchoring kits, sealants, and other opened accessory items

Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team at support@qualityshed.shop. We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization if applicable.

Important notes for shed returns:

  • Large shed items require special return shipping arrangements
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the shed is properly packed and secured for return transit
  • We may request photos of the item and packaging before authorizing the return
  • Returns for large sheds may require freight carrier coordination

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is a result of our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, confirmed manufacturing defect).
  • In the case of our error, we will arrange and pay for return shipping.
  • Return shipping costs for sheds can be substantial due to size and weight. We recommend contacting us before purchasing if you have concerns about potential returns.

Condition Inspection

Once we receive your returned shed, our team will inspect the item to verify it meets our eligibility criteria. Returns that show signs of assembly, installation, weather exposure, missing parts, or damage will be rejected or subject to a partial refund.

Refunds

Refund Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification confirming receipt of your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

For approved refunds, your refund will be processed within 2 business days after return approval.

Approved Refunds

If your return is approved, a credit will be applied to your original method of payment. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card issuer to post the refund to your account.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund within the expected time frame:

  1. First, check your bank or credit card account again
  2. Contact your credit card company or payment provider (it may take some time before your refund is officially posted)
  3. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@qualityshed.shop

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:

  • Sheds returned with minor damage to packaging but product intact
  • Items returned missing non-essential hardware or accessories
  • Sheds that show minor signs of handling or storage

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges for shed items. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, style, or model, you will need to:

  1. Return the original item following our return policy
  2. Place a new order for the item you want

Damaged Products

If you receive a damaged shed, please follow these steps immediately:

  1. Do not attempt to assemble or install the damaged shed
  2. Contact us immediately at support@qualityshed.shop
  3. Provide detailed information about the damage, including clear photos of:
    • The damaged area(s)
    • All panels and components
    • The original packaging (especially any damage to the box)
  4. Keep the original packaging and damaged item as evidence

We will review your claim and arrange for a replacement, partial refund, or full refund as appropriate. In many cases, we may not require you to return the damaged shed, especially for large items where return shipping is impractical.

Manufacturing Defects

If your shed has a manufacturing defect such as:

  • Warped or cracked panels
  • Missing pre-drilled holes
  • Defective hardware
  • Incorrect dimensions or parts

Please contact us immediately with photos and a description. We will work with you to provide replacement parts, a replacement shed, or a refund as appropriate.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your shed order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing the order. Once an order has been processed, shipped, or is in transit, it cannot be canceled and you will need to follow our standard return process after delivery.

Restocking Fee

No restocking fee is applied to eligible returns. However, due to the large size of shed products, a restocking fee may apply for returns initiated for customer change-of-mind reasons. Any restocking fee will be communicated to you during the return authorization process.
