At Quality Shed, we want your shopping experience to be smooth and enjoyable. Please take a moment to review our shipping policy to understand how we handle shed orders, delivery, and related matters.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 2 business days from the date of purchase. Once processed, items are prepared for shipment and handed over to our shipping partners for delivery.

Note for shed items: Due to the large size and weight of sheds, processing may include coordination with freight carriers and delivery scheduling. You will be notified of any additional lead time required for your specific shed order.

Delivery Time

After processing, estimated delivery time is 5 to 7 business days. Total delivery time from order placement to arrival is usually 7 to 9 business days, depending on your location and shipping carrier.

Important note for sheds: Delivery times for large sheds may vary based on your location and access to your property. Some rural areas may require additional transit time.

Shipping Methods

We offer standard shipping across the United States for all shed items. Due to the size and weight of our shed products, deliveries are typically coordinated through specialized freight carriers.

  • Freight Carrier – for all full-sized shed deliveries
  • FedEx / UPS – for smaller shed accessories, hardware kits, and add-ons
  • USPS – for very small accessory items

The carrier is automatically selected based on the size of your shed order and your delivery location to ensure the safest and most efficient delivery possible.

Shipping Rates

We’re pleased to offer free shipping on all shed orders shipped to addresses within the contiguous United States. No minimum purchase required.

Note for remote locations: Deliveries to remote or hard-to-access areas may incur additional fees. We will contact you before processing your order if any additional delivery charges apply.

Order Cut-Off & Same-Day Dispatch

We operate a same-day dispatch policy to get your shed order processed as quickly as possible.

  • Cut-off time: 19:00 PM (7:00 PM) Central Standard Time (CST)

How it works:

Examples:

  • Order at 17:00 PM (5:00 PM) → Same day processing → Same day tracking ✓
  • Order at 18:30 PM (6:30 PM) → Same day processing → Same day tracking ✓
  • Order at 19:01 PM (7:01 PM) → Next morning processing → Next morning tracking ✓

This policy ensures: Order today → Processing confirmation today (if before 7:00 PM) OR next morning confirmation (if after 7:00 PM)

Order Tracking

Once your shed order is processed and dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information. This allows you to monitor the status and estimated delivery date of your shed.

Please note: For large shed deliveries via freight carriers, tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear after dispatch. You may also receive a call from the carrier to schedule a delivery window.

Address Accuracy & Delivery Access

It’s important to ensure that your shipping address is accurate and completeQuality Shed is not responsible for delayed or lost shipments due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

For shed deliveries, please ensure:

  • Your property address is clearly marked and accessible
  • There is adequate space for a large freight truck to access your delivery location
  • The delivery location is free from overhead obstructions (low-hanging trees, power lines, etc.)
  • You provide any special delivery instructions (e.g., gate codes, steep driveways) during checkout

Any additional shipping costs incurred due to address errors, delivery access issues, or failed delivery attempts will be the responsibility of the customer.

Order Modifications and Cancellations

We understand that situations may arise where you need to modify or cancel your shed order. For such requests, please contact our customer support team within 24 hours of placing the order. We will do our best to assist you.

Once an order has been processed or dispatched, modifications and cancellations are no longer possible.

Lost or Damaged Packages

In the rare event that your shed package is lost or damaged during transit, please get in touch with our customer support team immediately.

  • For damaged items: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Provide photos of the damage, the shed components, and the packaging.
  • For lost packages: We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate and resolve the issue.

We are committed to ensuring a satisfactory outcome for every customer.

Delivery Requirements for Sheds

Due to the large size of our shed products, please note the following delivery requirements:

  • Adult Signature Required: An adult (18+) must be present to accept and sign for the delivery
  • Inspection: You will have the opportunity to inspect the packaging for visible damage before signing
  • Failed Delivery Attempts: Failed delivery attempts may result in additional fees – these fees are the customer’s responsibility
  • Curbside Delivery: Standard delivery is typically curbside. You are responsible for moving the shed components from the curb to your desired location. White glove delivery (placement on your property) may be available for an additional fee – please contact us for details.

If you anticipate being unavailable for delivery or have special delivery requirements, please contact us before placing your order.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship only within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). We do not ship to:

  • Alaska or Hawaii
  • PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses (due to size restrictions)
  • US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, etc.)
